1. Which version of Adobe Flash do I need to use the E-merald components?

The required version of Adobe Flash depends on specific E-merald component (see the table below):

2. Do E-merald components work on both PCs and Macs?

E-merald components have been developed and tested to be 100% compatible with all versions of Windows on a PC as long as they have the required Flash player version installed (see the table above). The components have not been tested with Mac OS X on Macintosh. You can download the trial version of a component and test if it works properly on your system.

4. What are the terms of use of the E-merald components?

When purchasing E-merald components, you are purchasing a single license to use that specific component on a single computer for personal or commercial use. The following acts constitute as software piracy:

• Installing the component on more than one PC (unless multiple licenses are purchased);
• Distribution through the Internet;
• Distribution through hardcopy (CD/Zip/Tape etc);
• Distribution through P2P or related software;
• Making copies to pass onto colleagues, decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, modifying, or creating derivative works of the E-merald components.

5. How do I install an E-merald component?

Before you install the component, make sure Adobe Flash is not running. To install the component, just double-click the MXP file (extracted from ZIP package you previously downloaded from our site). Adobe Extension Manager will do the rest for you. You need to accept the "Extension Disclaimer". You also can install the component by opening Adobe Extension Manager and selecting "Install Extension" from "File" menu. After having finished installing the component, you can start Flash and you will find the component in the Components panel (press Ctrl-F7 if you can't find it).

6. How do I uninstall an E-merald component?

Before you uninstall the component, make sure Macromedia Flash is not running (not required for Flash 8). Open Macromedia Extension Manager and select the component you wish to uninstall. From "File" menu select "Remove Extension" and then confirm by clicking on "Yes".

7. Are the E-merald components available on a free trial basis?

Yes. All of the E-merald components are provided with free trial versions which you can download from "Components" page.

8. Which payment options does E-merald web-engineering accept?

9. How and when will I receive the E-merald component(s) I order?

You will be redirected to our download area immediately after your order is processed. You can then download the component you purchased using the link to a Zip archive.

Download instructions also will be emailed to your email address as soon as you complete the payment process.

10. Am I entitled to receive future update versions for an E-merald component I purchased?

Yes. Any future versions released will be available to all customers who have previously purchased a component. You can get updates for a component, as well as its original version, on "Updates" page in our "Support" area by selecting the name of a component and entering the Order Number that was provided via email at time of purchase.
