Magnetic Slideshow — Overview

The Magnetic Slideshow is an XML-based Flash banner rotator with thumbnails and extensive set of parameters.

Main features:

• supports JPG, PNG, GIF image formats, and SWF files;
• also supports transparent images (PNG, GIF, SWF) by using specific mechanism for the transitions;
• 3 different transition effects;
• separate delay time for each image can be set;
• sequential or random order of images;
• adjustable transition duration;
• fully adjustable controls and description text area;
• 2 different types of thumbnails scrolling — "dynamic" and "static";
• images of any size can be used — several options for fitting are available;
• automatic background loading of images — once the current image is loaded and displayed, the next one is loading in background;
• the font can be embedded or not;
• supports HTML formatted descriptions;
• FlashVars support for loading different XML files;
• ActionScript API available.

You can work with the Magnetic Slideshow in one of the following ways:

1. Using the source FLA file (editable Flash file) for further publishing (creating SWF file).
2. Using the SWF file (fully working Flash movie). In this case, you don't need Flash software or any programming knowledge.
